my week in pictures: some beach!

If you were following my instagram last week and this past weekend you would know that I was at the beach and that I LOVE it! I really do, I love everything about the beach, the cool wind on your face, the crashing of the waves, the sand between your toes, the ocean 'grass' that gets stuck in your hair when you swim in the ocean, sun burnt shoulders, sand castle making, sunset, tide pools... can I keep going?? when vacation ends real life begins

Every time vacation ends I am so sad! It's like this big dark storm cloud hangs over my head and says "Alyssa, today is your last day of vacation and tomorrow you have to go back to work, HA HA!"
Okay, this doesn't really happen but it sure feels like it!
I love going on vacation and I love being at the beach! LOVE! My favorite parts are swimming in the ocean, building sand castles, and just hanging out.
Brand and I got to go to Rocky Point and we had LOTS of fun!

From AZ to RP The Final Chapter

I am finally getting around to posting my Final Chapter of Mexico. 

I can't believe my week there is over! 

Here was what the end of my week there looked like. 

Sunday:

Went to church with the Fam.

Got a heat rash {which totally ruined the rest of the the trip}

Had some delish Pasqua dinner. 

{Pasqua means Easter in Spanish}

Went to the Aquarium 

Spend time updating the blog

Watched the Fam play Kemps

Watched the sunset

Built a fire pit

and spent more time with the fam

Monday:

Woke up and sat out on the porch

wanted to tan but couldn't because my heat rash 

But still went out on the beach!

Went shopping!

Went to Mare Blue with the hubs! 

{this delish Italian restaurant}

Tuesday:

Woke up and sat out on the porch

{knowing it was my last morning on the beach for a while}

Went inside and wrote my BIL on DearElder! 

{love him and miss him!}

Spent time with the hubs

Packed up

Said good bye to Casa De La Buena Vida

Went to Super Ley

Thrifty

and Choya Mall 

to pick up some last minute things

and headed back home!

We had so much fun in Rocky Point! 

And cannot wait to go back!!

From AZ to RP Day Three and Four!

It is Sunday and I am a little bit behind with this blog!

I totally thought I would be able to do a post a day but it turns out that 

all I want to do is sit on the beach and TAN! 

Now I'm not as golden brown as I would like to be and I still have a couple more days to work 

on it but I am pretty happy so far!

I did get a sunburn on my feet 

{even though I put mounds of sunblock on them!}

It seems like the days have been rolling together and I don't remember what days I 

did what! We have done a lot of fun things this trip and we are really having fun!

Thursday I know we went to "Super Ley" 

{the local grocery store where my one year of Spanish really comes in handy!}

At the grocery story they sell fresh fish and boy is it nasty lookin'!

I was really grossed out and didn't want to take this picture! 

Doesn't this gross you out?!

We also went shopping!

We also ate Churros!

Ate Tacos at the Malacon!



Saw a random castle house! 

{Sunset as we were driving into town!}

And of Course...

hung out on the beach!

I so don't want this relaxation to end!!

What a relaxing week! It sure cannot get much better than this!

From AZ to RP Day One!

You read that right!

My vacation has begun!

and lemme tell ya... it's amazin'!

I love the beach and I love hanging out with family and friends! 

Driving from our house in AZ to our other house in RP is a 3.5 hour trip.

Throughout the trip we see A LOT of cactus, dirt and mountains!

This trip we decided to stop by Organ Pipe National Monument.

This is a park that houses hundreds of Organ Pipe Cactus.
