the magic is gone

It has almost been a year since I cut my locks. That's right, a full year! I knew this was going to happen when my hair dresser told me that she was moving to the other side of the country. You see, I don't like getting new hair dressers, if I trust someone with my hair it's like I am trusting them with my life! - Ha! You think I'm kidding! I have been in desperate need of a hair cut, Brand was even starting to wonder if I was planning on growing my hair to my bum! - I would never do that, I would end up cutting my hair myself if I had no other choice. I guess the moral of this post is just go for it - as long as it's not life threatening or doesn't put you in jail - Just go for it. I mean really, I know my hair is going to grow back and it looks so much more healthy! But, I do think that next time I will cut it my self... $15 doesn't seem like a good price for a simple TRIM!

I hear yah. After paying about that much to have my hair chopped off (We're talking about a foot of hair here.) I just have my sis in law do the matinence trims.

YAY! One time, last winter, I cut my hair from your current length to a boy cut one night. It was an emotional "agh i hate everything!" type of experience. But now it is shoulder length again. So I definitely understand hair cutting insecurities.

Doesn't it feel amazing to get that cut after a year?! I am totally the same way... Now I've got short hair, but I need a hair cut so badly...

You have gorgeous hair too!

I haven't bothered to get my hair cut at a salon probably anymore times than I can count on two hands, largely due to the fact that I've only had one haircut in my life that I really LOVED. I tend to just randomly get annoyed at my hair and hack away at it myself, LOL. I definitely understand that finding the right person for the job can be a big pain!
