It all started on Thursday, while Brand and I were at In-n-Out. We sat next to a couple, a man and a woman, who had a cute little toddler, I'd say he was 2. While we were waiting for our order I couldn't help but notice tears falling from this woman's face. I automatically felt the urge to go over and hug her. (Now, if you don't know me let me fill you in on this-I'm not a hugger...) Her boyfriend/husband, left the table and it was just her and her son, the urge to hug her came on even stronger as she kept crying. Brand got up to wait for our order and I sat there just a table across. Her son started kicking off and I tried getting his attention, sure enough when I smiled at him he smiled back and we started this back-and-forth thing. The woman stopped crying and we all started laughing, that little boy was a cutie! After Brand and I were finished with our dinner we went on our way.
I kept thinking about that woman, why she was crying, what obstacles in life she has gone through to get to where she is now, and how tough she might have/had it. I'd like to think that because I smiled her day was just a tad bit better. I'd like to think that she knows her true purpose on this earth and that she knows she is special.
All I know is that smiles are contagious!

You seem like such a sweet person. Sometimes a smile can change everything.
